Drupal 7.0 Is Officially Available Now

Drupal 7.0 has been officially available. The most exciting release and one of the best open source content management systems with more flexibility options and more usability improvements. Almost 1% of all the websites in the world are powered by Drupal.

“About 1,000 people contributed to Drupal 7. It is a legendary piece of work, by the community, for the community. On Friday, we celebrate the release with 248 parties in 88 countries. Make sure to buy these people a drink.” Said Dries Buytaert, Drupal Founder.

Thousands of add-on modules and designs let you build any site you can imagine, you can create new content types using the Drupal Core, you can add custom texts, images, and file-fields to the content and users as well. There is no doubt that Drupal has gained a good reputation during the years. Today, it is being used in by government agencies, universities, non-profits organizations, and individuals.

When installing Drupal, some built-in modules for services like OpenID, forums and contact forms, can be enabled and disabled.
